Cereals and fruit juice– This combination screams out a burst of sugar supply which spikes our insulin levels in the blood, The extra supply of direct sugars  makes one hyperactive, irritable, causes stomach discomfort, worm infestation and is an imbalanced meals with almost no protein present.

Spinach and Paneer –Spinach has high content of oxalate and phytates which  binds with free calcium present in milk and interferes with absorption of both iron & calcium of that particular meals. Moreover, prolonged use can cause gall and kidney stones.

Meat and Dairy -Meat is a great source of iron but when combined with milk and its products which are rich in calcium, the calcium inhibits or reduces the bioavailability of this iron to the body.

Fruits post heavy meals– Fruit does not mix well with other foods as it contains  simple sugars that need easy digestion while a heavy meal takes longer to digest. The fruit sugar sits in the stomach waiting for the heavy meal to digest during which it ferments and produces acids that can damage intestinal linings.

Milk and Citrus Fruit– Milk contains 80% of caesin and when combined with acidic  fruit, the acid content of fruit reacts with the caesin in milk leading to  precipitation/coagulation, leaving the milk protein unavailable for absorption.  This curdling of milk may cause imblance of bacteria in the gut, causing stomach ache, vomiting, loose motions etc.

Beans and cheese -When eaten together can cause bloating, gas and other digestive-related problems.
