Stuffed Lady finger

Lady finger (washed, dried and slit from the middle) – 10 to 12

For stuffing

Cumin and Fennel seeds (slightly roast and powder them) – 1 tsp each

Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp

Amchur – 1/2 tsp

Roasted til seeds – 1 tsp

coriander powder – 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Fresh coriander – 1 tbsp


1Mix all stuffing ingredients and fill them in each ladies finger. Brush the ready ladies fingers in 1 tsp of oil and micro cook them for 8 to 10 min on high power. If you don’t want too dry then cook them in steps. First 4 mins and stir, again 4-5 mins cook and stir. Check. Serve with lime slices and coriander.

2Note – you can also cook them on a non stick pan. Cover them if ladies fingers are completely dry after washing.
