Gajar Ka Halwa

One of the most popular Indian dessert, here is the 'Gajar ka Halwa' recipe. Known to have originated in Punjab, it is a delight during the winter months.
- Prep: 10 mins
- Cook: 25 mins
1Wash peel and grate the carrots.
2In a pan add carrots and milk and cook until milk is absorbed
3Add ghee, cardamom powder and stir it for 2-3 mins
4Add sugar and cook for 4-5 mins
5Now add grated khoya and cook for 15-20 mins until ghee starts to leave on sides
6Garnish with almonds and serve warm
