Super creamy roasted beet hummus featuring a whole roasted beet, lemon, and plenty of garlic flavor. Perfect with chips, pita, or veggies.
1 med Beetroot
1 cup chickpeas cooked
1 tbsp tahini
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin
1Roast the beetroot in an oven. Peel the skin and chop them in to chunks.
2Place the beetroot, chickpeas and garlic in a food processor and blend it
3Add tahini , lemon juice, salt, cumin and add little water to make its texture smooth and creamy
4Refrigerate for a week
5Enjoy with Khakra, Cucumber, Carrot sticks
