Aam Panna a refreshing drink to beat the heat after a long day. It can also be served with snacks.

100 g large raw mango

2-3 cardamoms crushed or powdered

4-5 black pepper crushed or powdered

2 tsp black salt

1 tsp jaggery or honey as required


1Rinse and steam the raw mango in a pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles till they become soft and pulpy.

2Remove the peel and take out the mango pulp

3Mix the cardamom, salt and jaggery to mango pulp and blend it till smooth

4Store it in an air tight jar or bottle

5While serving add 1 tbsp of the preserve to 1 glass of water.

6Stir and add ice cubes.

7Serve chilled.
